Foodology Classes and COVID-19: (please read!)

Foodology and it's guests will be subject to adherence of any precautionary measures instituted by either the federal or state governments in regards to COVID-19. We will not allow anyone to participate in classes or events if they are unwilling to comply with the guidelines. Refusal to comply with guidelines will void any credit or class exchange opportunities, if applicable. Masks are optional. Thank you for your cooperation!

Please Note:

If a state or federal shut down occurs due to COVID-19, another pandemic, natural disaster or any other reason that forces us to close, Foodology will give a CREDIT for the full amount if the session hasn't started, or a pro rated credit for the remainder of the class(es). Credits must be used within 2 years. Refunds will not be given. Please understand that we will give you as much notice as we can, but we appreciate your understanding as last minute cancelations could happen.

Kids' Birthday Parties

Ages 6-105

Parties include: plates, napkins, utensils, water bottles, candle, and favor.
Birthday child gets an apron all their friends can sign.
*Please consult our allergy page if applicable

Additional information:

  • All parties are 100% hands on baking/cooking activities.
  • Please advise party attendees that they MUST arrive with hair up (if applicable), and wearing closed toed shoes (no sandals, no flip flops, no high heels).
  • Aprons will be provided to wear during the event.
  • Please DO NOT ARRIVE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES EARLY! We have multiple parties a weekend and need time to clean/set up in between.
  • If you have a guest coming who has an allergy of any kind, please have them contact Chef Christina directly at (860) 426-9499 or email info@foodologylab.com at least 48 hrs before the party.
  • If you need your party to be entirely gluten free, a $50 additional charge will be added to your initial deposit.
  • If your birthday child has allergies, we'd love to talk with you about creating a custom party based on their specific needs.
  • If a child attending the party has an anaphylactic allergy, they must bring their epi pen and either their parent/guardian must stay. Or the parent/guardian can designate another adult who is attending the party to administer the epi pen in an emergency on behalf of their child.
  • No Balloons.
  • Due to time constraints, no gifts will be open during the party.

Party Options: Ages 5+

Pick your favorite theme party — This type of party is customized by a theme chosen by your child (dogs, rainbows, the color blue, French food, etc...) The party will be broken down into a main baking/cooking activity and a favor activity they will take home.

Make your own pizza & brownie party — Participants will make pizza dough from scratch and use the dough to make personal pizzas. While the pizzas are cooking, they will make brownies to be later used to sing "happy birthday" to your child. Vanilla ice cream optional. The favor for this party is the pizza recipe.

Length: 1.5 hrs.
Cost: $350 for up to 10 participants including the birthday child; $25 for each additional participant
Deposit: $175 deposit is required at the time of booking. *See our cancellation policy
Final Payment: Final payment is due on the day of the event based on the number of participants given to Foodology by noon 2 days prior. You can call or email Foodology with your final count. If no final count is received by noon 2 days prior, Foodology staff will plan for 10 participants and may not be able to accommodate more than 10.

Cooking Challenge Party: Ages 10+

In these friendly competition cooking events, participants will be put into teams to compete against each other for prizes and bragging rights. Bonus… they get to eat everything they make! No prior cooking experience needed. The favor for this party is the team's creation divided up amongst them.

Cost: $395 for up to 10 participants including the birthday child; $28 for each additional participant

If no final count is received by noon 2 days prior, Foodology staff will plan for 10 participants and may not be able to accommodate more than 10.
