Foodology Classes and COVID-19: (please read!)

Foodology and it's guests will be subject to adherence of any precautionary measures instituted by either the federal or state governments in regards to COVID-19. We will not allow anyone to participate in classes or events if they are unwilling to comply with the guidelines. Refusal to comply with guidelines will void any credit or class exchange opportunities, if applicable. Masks are optional. Thank you for your cooperation!

Please Note:

If a state or federal shut down occurs due to COVID-19, another pandemic, natural disaster or any other reason that forces us to close, Foodology will give a CREDIT for the full amount if the session hasn't started, or a pro rated credit for the remainder of the class(es). Credits must be used within 2 years. Refunds will not be given. Please understand that we will give you as much notice as we can, but we appreciate your understanding as last minute cancelations could happen.

Have you ever wondered what goes into making that perfect bagel? Wonder no more! Chef instructor, Ali Smith, will teach you all things bagel in this hands on, bagel making class. While the bagels are cooking, participants will make flavored cream cheeses. Recipes included. Seats are limited.

4/21 Family Chopped!

*For ages 8+ at least one participant must be 18+

Is your family ready to battle it out in the kitchen for prizes and bragging rights? Family Chopped is comprised of 1 round (main course). Teams will have 50 minutes to create culinary masterpieces using the secret box ingredients provided by Foodology along with items from our pantry. Each team will then have to plate their dish and present it to the judges.

*This is intended to be a friendly competition for adults with children between the ages of 8-18.

Chef Instructor Lauren Hyjek ~ Paul Gregory's Bistro Cafe

Who doesn't love a perfectly filled eclair? In this class, Chef Lauren Hyjek breaks down how to make classic eclairs from choux paste and piping techniques, to how to make the most indulgent pastry cream filling! This class is hands on with some demonstration. Each twosome will make and bring home eclairs to eat and share (or not share-up to you-we won't judge). All recipes will be provided. Seats are limited.

5/5 Spring Cookie Decorating

Chef instructor Blair Gianatti ~ Endless Sweets Bakery

Grab your friends, favorite beverage and join guest pastry chef Blair Gianatti, owner of Endless Sweets Bakery, as she teaches this hands-on and interactive class on spring inspired decorated cookies! This class is specifically designed to teach and improve your royal icing skills all while learning the art of decorated sugar cookies. This class is suitable for any skill level, especially beginners. Recipes included. Due to time restrictions, cookies will be baked ahead of time. BYOB!

"Blue Plate Special" is a term diners use for a discount-priced meal that changes daily. Foodology wanted to offer a cost friendly class to help people navigate how to feed themselves and/or their families a delicious meal on a budget. Foodology will be offering "Blue Plate Special" classes one Tuesday a month. Join us this May as we create a cheesy calzone with homemade dough, filling and a side salad with fresh dressing. Learn how to make pizza dough from scratch and then use it to make your very own personal pizza. Foodology will supply everything you need including sauce and toppings. While pizzas are baking, take part in some pizza trivia for prizes!

Wondering what to do with all those peaches you just picked? In this hands on class, students will work individually on making a from scratch fresh peach pie. Chef Christina will teach pie crust making and technique, how to create a delicious pie filling, and the overall basics of making the perfect pie. Each participant will go home with their very own peach pie. This class is completely hands on. All recipes will be provided. Seats are limited.

9/20 Sushi Making for Beginners

Chef Instructor James Nelson ~ Culinary Instructor

Call up your sushi loving friends and join Chef Nelson for this hand on, locally sourced, cooking class where each twosome will make an Asian salad with ginger dressing, learn proper rice cooking and rolling of a California roll, coconut shrimp roll, and spicy tuna roll (each roll makes 8-10 pieces). Rolls will be professionally presented alongside pickled ginger and wasabi sauce. Seats are limited. BYOB!

Make memories and start new traditions! Have fun customizing cookie dough with our fun "mix-ins" to create your special, one of a kind cookies for Santa! Write a letter to Santa & make a treat for his reindeers too! While you're baking, enjoy the hot chocolate buffet! Each child gets their own dough. Fun for all ages!
