Foodology Classes and COVID-19: (please read!)

Foodology and it's guests will be subject to adherence of any precautionary measures instituted by either the federal or state governments in regards to COVID-19. We will not allow anyone to participate in classes or events if they are unwilling to comply with the guidelines. Refusal to comply with guidelines will void any credit or class exchange opportunities, if applicable. Masks are optional. Thank you for your cooperation!

Please Note:

If a state or federal shut down occurs due to COVID-19, another pandemic, natural disaster or any other reason that forces us to close, Foodology will give a CREDIT for the full amount if the session hasn't started, or a pro rated credit for the remainder of the class(es). Credits must be used within 2 years. Refunds will not be given. Please understand that we will give you as much notice as we can, but we appreciate your understanding as last minute cancelations could happen.

1/3 Sushi Making for Beginners

Chef Instructor James Nelson ~ Culinary Instructor

Call up your sushi loving friends and join Chef Nelson for this hands on, locally sourced, cooking class where each twosome will make an Asian salad with ginger dressing, learn proper rice cooking and rolling of a California roll, coconut shrimp roll, and spicy tuna roll (each roll makes 8-10 pieces). Rolls will be professionally presented alongside pickled ginger and wasabi sauce. Seats are limited. BYOB!

1/19 Mini Class ~ Create Your Own Stuffed Bread

Chef Instructor Rachael DeSocio ~ Red Apple Catering

Stuffed breads are a great option for an easy dinner, game day appetizer, hand held lunch on the go, or savory late night snack. In this mini class students will learn how to make the dough and then customize their very own stuffed bread with an array of different fillings to choose from. Participants can bake and eat them on site or can wrap them to bake off and eat at home. Participants will get to take dough to make a second bread at home. This is a full hands on class. All recipes will be provided. Seats are limited.

1/26 Family Food Fight ~ Nailed It!

Ages 5+ at least one member of the team must be 18+

Do you enjoy watching food challenges on TV? If so, grab your friends and family and join us as we bring the Netflix show "Nailed It" to life in our Foodology teaching kitchen! Our friends at Sassy Mama Sweets will be creating an edible masterpiece that contestants will have to copy. The team whose culinary submission is closest the to original will take home the "Nailed it" title as well as a $50 gift card to Foodology! All cakes (pre baked), supplies and tools will be provided. This is intended to be a friendly competition.

Grab your friends, favorite beverage and join guest pastry chef Blair Gianatti, owner of Endless Sweets Bakery, as she teaches this hands-on and interactive class on winter & Valentine's Day inspired decorated cookies! This class is specifically designed to teach and improve your royal icing skills all while learning the art of decorated sugar cookies. Participants will be making yummy quesadillas stuffed with selections from our cheese and toppings bar and then using edible markers to turn their quesadilla into their favorite Taylor Swift record. We'll also be doing some Swiftie trivia for prizes.

3/6 Mini Murder Mystery Sip & Solve ~ The Artist

Foodology presents Mini Murder Mystery Sip & Solve! Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy a fun and unique game night with your family and friends! Each group will get an envelope of clues and puzzles they will have to solve to find the killer all while enjoying a beautiful charcuterie board for the table provided by Foodology.

The Artist ~ Nicolas Polk was a gifted artist. Even as a student enrolled in Valley Falls University's prestigious art program, his work always stood head and shoulders above the rest. Fittingly enough, Nicolas was announced as the winner of the annual LaBelle Art Show. Imagine everyone's surprise, however, when the young savant was found dead the next morning inside the art gallery. Can you catch the killer before they get away with a picture-perfect crime? *You will need a smart phone to participate. *This is not a cooking class. BYOB!

Do you enjoy watching food challenges on TV? If so, grab your friends and family and join us for Foodology's annual pizza making competition! Using Chef Rachael's dough and Foodology pantry items, teams will have to create an original pizza to bake off during the allotted time. The Pizza D'Apple truck will be in the parking lot ready for you to bake up your pie in their seasoned brick oven. A $50 Foodology gift card will be given to the winning team! This is meant to be a friendly competition.
